I feel like sharing this morning and if it comes off like preaching....even better lol.
It is so liberating to know that God has his plan for my life and he is working things out so that I can better serve him and reach others. Throughout all that I have been through in life, I have survived. He has brought me through the darkest of times and has intervened when I was at my lowest and about to gi...ve up. For me to wake up everyday and not put my faith in him is an insult to him and all he has done. He knows what is best for my life and he has ordered my steps to take me through everything I need to go through to build my faith and create a stronger testimony of his good works. The blessings that he has given me are ones that I feel I do not deserve. I immediately get tears in my eyes thinking of how good he has been to me. God will test your faith, and mine was tested time and time again. I will not lie, there are many times that I have failed but with each time I learned to trust him more and more. I know I am still a work in progress and he is still molding me into what he wants me to be and that is alright. All I have to do is listen, be willing, and be obedient. He will ensure that my purpose in life is fulfilled and to know that all I have to do is put everything in his hands and follow his directions is so comforting. HIS will be done, not mine. He knows best. Let him lead your life. Take a look at your testimony. I can not thank him enough. He wanted me to remove the negative people in my life and I did. In return he has put so many people in my life that have blessed me and is even working on those I thought could never change. You may not understand his plan. You may think that the load is too great. You may think that he has forgotten you. He’s there. He’s working. He’s waiting on you to trust him and let him do his thing. He knows best. He’s just waiting on you to realize that. He is in control. Let him do his thang.

Praise Your Way into God's Presence

by Joyce Meyer - posted May 19, 2013

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! —Psalm 100:4
There are ways to make ourselves available to hear God’s voice and one of them is to enter into respectful, heartfelt praise and worship. God delights to manifest His presence and power to people who are truly praising and worshipping Him. And when His presence and power come, we hear His voice, we see miracles, people are healed, lives are changed, and transformation takes place from the inside out.
Isn’t that part of what you desire in your relationship with God? When you talk to Him and listen for His voice, aren’t you praying primarily because you want some kind of change or transformation in some area of your life?
If you are asking Him to provide a new job, that’s change. If you are praying for a loved one to come to know the Lord, that’s change. If you are asking God to reveal Himself more to you and to help you grow in spiritual maturity, that’s change. If you are praying for the teenager who lives down the street to stop using drugs, that’s change. If you are asking God to help you not lose your temper so easily, that’s change.
Whatever you are praying for, one of the best ways to start is with praise and worship. They will keep your heart right before God and make a way for you to hear His voice and for change to take place.
God’s word for you today: When you need to hear God’s voice, praise and worship Him.

Heavenly Father, I come to you with praise in my heart.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with a new day to live and walk for you
Thank you for protecting me through the night
Thank you for the many blessings that you have given me, ones that I realize and ones that I am not even aware of.
Lord I ask that you help me and guide me through my weight loss journey.
I have not been a good steward to my body and I am working to fix that
Lord help me overcome my addiction to food.
Help to overcome my binges, my cravings, my temptations, my doubts, and my fears.
Give me strength to say no to temptations, give me strength to stand up for my body and take care of it the way you want me to
Help me make my body a temple for you.
Help me take care of this blessing that you have given me
Lord, I surrender myself to you. I can not do this without you.
I need you Father. Guide me. Help me. Rebuild me.
I can do all things through you Lord.
I give you praise, honor, and all the glory.
Amen
~Sondra
